Construction sites present a unique challenge to emergency responders due to the ever-evolving changes in construction. It becomes more complicated when a technical rescue is involved, as rescuers must navigate the dangers and hazards associated with construction, including restrictions on apparatus height, access to the site itself, apparatus placement, accessing the building (vertically & horizontally), lack of fire protection, open floors, blind shafts, unfinished rooms and stairs, fall protection, unprotected edges, heavy equipment, hazardous materials, lock out/tag out, crawler and tower cranes, confined spaces and more. This program provides a blend of information from both construction and emergency services.
