This course aids the provider through the difficult situation of an extended extrication. Whether it’s a structural collapse, over the hillside with entrapment, or on a tower with a medical event, these are not the quick rescue medical calls responder are accustomed to everyday. Some topics include issues the patient may be presented with, logistics of getting drugs and equipment to the patient, non-compliance, and weather conditions affecting the rescue. This program will also review real world case reviews.
